The "This or That" Tag!

I was tagged by the lovely and beautiful Des from Simple Charm Beauty. This tag was quite fun and hope you all, including the bloggers I have mentioned below, will do this as well. I think it is a great way for us all to get to know one another.

MAKEUP

Blush or Bronzer?
Blush. Although I wear pink, berry, and mauve colored blushes, my favorite shade of blush is a matte warm bronzy peach shade. I like to warm up my cheeks. I don't like bronzer because I don't care for contouring my face and feel that it gives a muddy appearance on fair to medium skin tones. I feel like bronzer looks great on my best friend because she has a tan-olive skin tone and bronzer accentuates her naturally tan skin and prominent facial features.  I am all about makeup looking natural and just adding a little spice to your features, so I think I carry blush better than bronzer.

Lip Gloss or Lipstick?
I like to consider myself a Lipstick Queen. Whenever I am in a store or traveling, I love to explore different beauty brand lipsticks. I would have probably named my blog the Lipstick Queen if it wasn't already a cosmetic brand name. I don't really like gloss, but I do like "glossy" lipsticks, especially those that are shaped like balms. Glosses feel heavy, sticky, and most often are not pigmented. I like pigmentation in my lip colors. However, I do own some opaque long-wearing glosses that look amazing paired with a lipstick.

Eye Liner or Mascara?
Eyeliner. I have naturally long lashes. I do like to wear mascara on special occasions to add volume. If I decide to wear lip color, I always like to pair it with eyeliner.

Foundation or Concealer?
Neither. I like moisturizers for daily use and would like to get a BB cream for special occasions or outings.

Neutral or Color Eye Shadow?
Neutral. I'm always drawn to bronzy / antiqued gold or champagne gold shades.

Pressed or Loose Eye Shadow?
I'd probably like pressed shadows; less messy.

Brushes or Sponges?
Brushes!

NAILS

OPI or China Glaze?
If I had to choose in regards to color selection, I would pick OPI. If I had to choose in regards to formula / application, I would choose China Glaze. I feel that both are overpriced though. I suppose China Glaze.

Long or Short?
Short, clean.

Acrylic or Natural?
Natural.

Brights or Darks?
I don't like brights or neons! I like soft, muted, milky or warm springy colors during the warmer months and chocolatey browns and reds during the winter months.

Flower or No Flower?
No flower. I don't like to do nail designs. I just like wearing solid colors, no frost, glitter, or shimmer.

BODY

Perfume or Body Splash?
Perfume. Body splash is not long-lasting. I just like to spray and head out the door. I don't carry a makeup or any products for touch-ups, except for lip balm. I love my Victoria Secret perfumes!!! These fragrances last through the whole day and are quite affordable to purchase during the V.S. Semi Annuals. I'm very conscious about scents and smells. I don't care to go to the market in sweatpants and a messy bun, but I must smell good.

Lotion or Body Butter?
Lotion. Body butter is too heavy!

Body Wash or Soap?
Give me body wash and loofah and I'm like a little kid!

Lush or Other Bath Company?
I'm not a big fan of Lush. I like Victoria Secret and the Bath and Body Works.

FASHION

Jeans or Sweat Pants?
Dark wash skinny jeans. I can fall asleep in jeans!

Long Sleeve or Short?
Long sleeves. I am cold all year long.

Dresses or Skirts?
Dresses.

Stripes or Plaid?
Plaid. I went through a plaid phase. At one point my wardrobe was mostly plaid shirts as if plaid had become a uniform. Plaid shirts, skirts, coats, socks, and sweat pants!

Flip Flops or Sandals?
Sandals. I love allowing my feet to breathe. I'm always uncomfortable in shoes, even flats are painful. Sandals are open yet more secure than flip flops.

Scarves or Hats?
Neither. Both make me feel suffocated.

Studs or Dangly Earrings?
I like both depending on the occasion. I like wearing studs for daily wear, school, professional environments, interviews, etc. Danglers are for going out. I only own a few studs, but love collecting danglers though.

Necklaces or Bracelets?
Bracelets. I love my arm candy! Beads, chains, bangles, stones, gold, silver, stretch... you name it, I like it! I don't like the leather bracelet trend though, it is too rocker style for me.

Heels or Flats?
I like both, but flats are more comfortable to wear and better for your feet. Wearing heels often can cause varicose veins and bunions. I wear heels for big events, like weddings or parties.

Cowboy Boots or Riding Boots?
Neither.

Jacket or Hoodie?
Hoodies any time, any place!

Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe?
Neither. I like these stores for inexpensive accessories, but nothing more. For clothing, I like department stores like Dillard's and Kohl's and shops like Express, the Limited, New York and Co., and the LOFT, but sometimes the sizes at these places runs a little big for me.

Abercrombie or Hollister?
I like both, but if I had to choose one over the other, I would pick Abercrombie.

Saks 5th or Nordstrom?
I have never shopped at either place.

HAIR

Curly or Straight?
My hair is naturally curly. Although I appreciate my curls, it seems that most people I know with curly hair, including myself, have frizz issues. I used to straighten my hair all the time a few years ago, but I stopped because I didn't want to damage it in the long run. I do wish I had straight hair though.

Bun or Ponytail?
Bunny Bun Bun! Although it refuses to stay up!

Bobby Pins or Butterfly Clips?
Neither can withstand the weight of my hair. I like both!

Hair Spray or Gel?
Neither. I used to use serum to style my hair, but now I like using oil.

Long or Short?
Long hair (with long layers) is just so feminine and sensual.

Light or Dark?
Dark. My hair is naturally an espresso / dark chocolate shade. It isn't jet black. I would like it a bit lighter, like a chocolate brown with auburn tones.

Side Sweep Bangs or Full Bangs?
Side Sweep Bangs.

Up or Down?
Down.
